Sonic tries to navigate the complexities of life on Earth with his new best friend he has found – a man named Tom Wachowski. They must join forces soon to prevent the evil Dr. Robotnik from capturing Sonic and using his powers to rule the world.

SONIC the HEDGEHOG is a live adventure comedy based on Sega’s global video game franchise, which focuses on the notoriously explosive light blue hedgehog. The film follows Sonic’s (fake) adventures as he wanders the complicated lives of his newborn best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden) on Earth. Sonic and Tom join forces to prevent Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from taking Sonic and using his powerful powers to power the world. Sonic’s voice also features Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz.
