While Facebook Messenger might be a breeze to access your phone or your browser through the official application, it uses as a desktop client has always been a bit tricky. If you regularly use the Chat option on your Facebook website, you won’t have a problem using your computer messenger. Most functions are in the exact same location with the same icons, while everyone else is easy to identify.

When you open and sign in to your Messenger desktop, all of your options are imported from your Facebook account, so you can start the conversation right away. The only option you might need to configure is to enable or disable the message notification.
